Heritage Trail

Sun splits early March skies and I'm zipping up and down the streets of KP when I come upon a street sign that rings a bell - "Tower Street".
This is one of my Ancestral Homes, No. 12 actually, which the clan occupied from 1920s to 1950s.
Also snap a couple of pics of Lambhill Street.

And down the length of Tower Street again. They might have back and front doors now, but the tenements had a lot more charm.

Funny how, to this day, we all call Portman Street in KP "P'rtMaaanstreet" with a quick Port and an emphasis on the Man. I put this down to the Gaelic intonations of the local Highlanders and Islanders who once resided here en masse.
