She Moves Through The Fair

One of the best things about the Govan Fair is that it doesn't start too early. You can be dashing about mad all day and then have a couple of hours of respite before the evening's fun starts up.
We don't hit the streets till quarter to eight or so and there are plenty of people leisurely making their way to find the ideal position.
Hiya to a fella at the windae in they new flats in Rathlin Street.
After the not very good photos I've taken in previous years, I've a wee goal in mind tonight; to take my time and try to capture some of the evening's ambience, donchaknow.

Well, you succeeded! I've been away from your site for a while and have just been catching up. Your photos are great and bring back happy memories of all the many Govan Fairs that I enjoyed as a child. Thank you for sharing!
